I have received news that our good friend anotherhiggins will be getting married on May 28th.
[cheers]
May this be the start of a wonderful, long, and happy relationship, and I wish you and your bride all the best.
[cheers]

BTW - The TTSSG (Tek-Tips Spouse Support Group) will be in touch with your finance shortly.

Why will TTSSG be in touch with his finance shortly? To talk her out of it?

If they are going to be in touch with his "finance" obviously they are wanting money ... but I think his fiance might have something to say about that.

[Cheers]

CC obviously typoed 'fiance' and he didn't meant 'finance' because if someone wants some money from the other one it is not usually disclosed in public place like TT, agree?

About a year ago I read something like this, when ESquared got married; then he vanished... in spite of the good advice he was given, like:

But see how much joy and international good will you have directly/indirectly been responsible for, Erik. For the life of me, I cannot see how marriage or any other distractions could be any better than this.
We hope to see you back anotherhiggins, congratulations!

Whoopee!

Thank you all for your kind words. I'm really excited and ready (emotionally if not logistically - there are tons of things to be done before the wedding) to be married to this fine young lass. See, I've had to keep her drunk for the last five years for fear that if she sobers up she might come to her senses and leave me. [wink]

And, I'm happy to report, I don't plan on disappearing à la E[sup]2[/sup]. (Come back to us E.) My fiancée is aware of all you freaks and hasn't made any attempt to keep me off the site. [thumbsup]

What with wedding expenses and an upcoming honeymoon, I wouldn't mind someone getting in touch with my finances.... If you can find them!

Congrats, anotherhiggings.

Well, this is just about it folks. Sunday is the Big Day, then I'll be on my honeymoon for two weeks. I won't be back on until June 13.

If I start having convulsions from going so long without this place, would that be a case of the [red]T[/red]T's?

Watch the place while I'm gone. And don't let Santa get really drunk and make a big mess. Again.

Dear John,

(OK, that's a bad way to start this one...)

Seriously, may you and your bride have a perfect wedding, exquisite honeymoon, and a long life of sheer joy with one another.

Perhaps in a few years, you and Mrs. {H} will give new meaning to "Another Higgins."

If the world is lucky, his/her {H} won't be Silent.

Tim
