my problem is scene lyk this,a workstation (PC) has been already join the domain when a domain user logon the group seems not applied. The workstation has a dual boot operating sys. windows98 and win2000professional, i join the domain using win2000PRO. looking forward.

Have you checked if the particular user was added in any group.What permission he has (in any other group, if he is a member of any group at all).Rember permissions are cumulative ia win2k ad.
