Hello,

I am trying to setup a spectralink 802x wireless phone with our Avaya IP Office 500 V2. I was able to get into configuration mode on the Spectralink phone and when I tried configuring access to our wireless network it doesn't work. The phone displays an error msg "No Net Found". I tried configuring the phone both with DHCP and a Static IP with the same result. We are using Cisco APs (2602) for our wireless network. I made sure to select domain #1 for north America and I am pretty sure I setup my wireless info correctly. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

thanks,

Mike

No Net Found means that your access point is rejecting the connection.
Check your security settings

There is only one good solution and that is to burn those freaking phones.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Thanks for all the feedback... After verifying all the settings on my Cisco APs were correct, I still was not able to get the phones connected. They are still displaying the same error msg. I think I am going to just take Bazinga's advise and burn them. I just ordered a regular analogue cordless phone with multiple handsets and multiple range extenders. This is a much cheaper and easier alternative.

tlBazinga? Hows that for a new nickname? :)

Most problems with no net found are that the settings in the handset dont match the access point.
Most will used the cradle and cradle software to load the settings into the phone and for firmware updates.
They can be rough on those with no prior experience.

most likely your security. what are you using > WPA,WPA2

try just WPA to start

It's only dialtone!!!

Try no security first.
Then try WPA and then WPA2.
I have had the same issue and i needed to disable TKIP on the accesspoints.

I will give that a try and see what happens. I will keep you posted. Thank you!
