Configuring softkeys on a i2004 connected to a BCM400?

I'm a relative newcomer to the BCM system, but have been using VoIP for a long, long time.

I'm trying to figure out how to configure the softkeys on an i2004 connected to a BCM with 3.6 software on it.. basically, I'd like to add a 'Park' button while on a call. I'd prefer not to use one of the line keys for this function, which is how I have it currently set up. Under the 'User Preferences' -> 'Button Programming' section, it seems I can only configure the hard buttons and the line buttons.

If anyone can provide details on where to find the softkey config, I'd love to hear it! Thanks!

When you say "softkeys" you mean the 3 keys under the LCD? Those keys are populating as you navigate in your mailbox or
while you're on a call but they cannot be programmed manually. If you want a call park button you need to program it on one of the 6 buttons(last 2 are usually intercom..)

Yeah, those are the softkeys I mean. Bummer that there is no way to program them by hand.. I already have Park set up as one of the line keys, but we've got more functions that will fit on those keys.

Softphone was never intended to replace a T7316E. Most users only use about 20% of available functions.

Maybe you'll just have to dial the feature code manually.

You do have a services list on the IP phones. In programming you can set up a list of features available to IP phones. Each IP phone has a services button that will bring up this list and the user can scroll through and choose the feature. This way the user at least doesn't need to remember the feature codes.
