Configuring sendmail under LINUX !

Good day,
I am a new LINUX user, I have to configure the sendmail server !
I dont know haw to begin ! please if one have any idea , I will be happy with his indication !

Which Linux? RedHat includes a section in LinuxConf which makes its configuration relatively easily although it does leave out some of the advanced features.

Start with the documentation that comes with sendmail - its actually pretty good. Also, take a look at sendmail.org, they should have some good starting places.

Another spot for all of you beginning needs is linuxnewbie.org.
