Configuring PRI trunks in Meridian Option 11c

Hi
I'm new in the Meridian and I have a hard time figuring out what's the problem in the PRI that I setup. Can anybody help me please,

The D-channel come up but the 23 B channel did not come up. The T1 is between Meridian option 11c and DMS 500

is the co using wink start? if not you can try changing dsel to vce, not usually the problem. change trmb to no. what state are the trunks in. and did you down load the tmdi/msdl

Hi Johnpoole,

I really appreciate your time and response on my problem.

I changed the TRMB to no, still doesn't work. I try to change the DSEL (right now it was setup as VOD) to VCE asas you recommended in LD 16 but when I try to do it, the DSEL field did not come up. What overlay shall I used to change it. The b-channel are IDLE but once you do the DSCH in the channels, you can't make it IDLE anymore, they stay MBSY until they lockout.

that sounds like a different problem, ld 16, change rdb to get to dsel.. you say that the trunks do become idle? what is the response when you have the provider direct access the trunk and dtmf the 3 or 4 digits you need? you can't dial out because they are incoming only on your route. most did's today are 2 way..iao you do know that the number in your ldn prompt determines the number of incoming digits your switch will accept. ie... if ldn is 252, then your switch will only read 3 digits on any did inbound. a 4 digit number denotes rec 4 digits from the co. if this is the 1st did pri, then that can be a show stopper

Hi johnpoole,

Where can I check the the ldn setup? In what overlay should I go tho check if it accept 3 or 4 digits.
I think the B-channels are not in sync. Once I blocked the B_channels it will not comeup to idle anymore.

Also, can you give me a sample how I translate an straight T1 (24 channels without D-channel) with and D4/AMI framing.
I want to setup one T1. Shall I used TIE or COT type of trunk for this?

Hi Johnpoole,

The PRI-ISDN B-channel was associated to Rout 99 which TKTP is ISA and then the SVRT I associated my outgoing to Rout 97 -TKTYP is COT and my incoming to Rout 98-TKTYP is DID. Did I made my PRI config correctly? Please see my config in the first part of this email.
