CONFIGURING PRI T1 ON IP OFFICE

I have tied a Nortel and a Avaya system via a T1PRI link, I am getting number displayed on the Avaya but no name.Can anyone point me where to look to enable both name and number to be displayed.

IPO 6.0(8) with PRI
switch type:DMS100

I think there are a modification to do in the 9N shortcode under TELEPHONE NUMBER, like
N.sXXXXXXXX

I entered the name in the system directory and it worked but that is a bit tedious when you have over a 100 Ext. coming over. The T1PRI should be able to send name and number.

as with many of the issues you have raised here, i would look on the nortel end. the ipo can't do anything with names if it's not recieving them.

Indeed, "The T1PRI should be able to send name and number" you do tend to omit the fact that this isn't a providors T1 coming direct to the IP office, it's analogue trunks into a Nortel which is linked to the IP Office via a T1, it's a bit different then, and that kind of info is needed when you post an issue :)

No that has changed no Analog trunks anymore all lines are now on the IP OFFICE in SIP and T1. All I am sending over is extension from the Nortel.
 
About time :) Sending name does work on T1 as someone else on here complained they couldn't override it using directory, basically the polar opposite to your issue :)

Sending the names too is a QSIG feature so is it a QSIG connection ?
