I've got one Netbackup Server running on Sun Solaris 7 and two client machines running Windows 2000. I'm in the initial stages of trying to get Netbackup setup correctly and implement it at our site.
Both the server and clients have secondary network interfaces communicating through a non-routable subnet backlan as to not flood the outward facing interfaces with backup traffic. My problem is not being able to figure out how to specify Netbackup Server and the client pieces to do all their communication through those secondary interfaces.
I can ping from server to client across the backlan and even got the "bpauthsync" command to setup the keys on the server and clients (which I think actually occurred across the frontlan connections).
This is probably something completely simple that I just haven't found yet in the daunting mound of documentation I have, but if anyone's done this I could really use the assistance.
Thanks.
