Hey, I am still stitting here after configuring the active directory and its saying "Updating Shortcuts to the active directory administrative tools..." and has been like that for over an hour. I have seen that it takes a while, but how long can i expect. thanks

Well it only took me about twenty minutes to do, but that will all depend on how much data you got and how big your network is i think??

Hey, its been almost 2 hours now and its still not done. It seems as if every once in a while the hard drive will do something but then go on a long period of doing nothing. Do you think the hardware of the computer like the processor and the memory could slow it down, because its not the best server in the world.

should I control+alt+del it, or wait>?

Also I was looking around and im not sure if i formated the drive in NTFS. I guess that could be a problem or do you think it would notify me via an alert box.

sorry for all the posts, its ntfs so please disregard the 4th post

Some Info yall may want to know:

I am looking at windows task manager and it says:
100% CPU is being used (msiexec.exe - 67, lsass.exe - 33)
So obviously its doing something It says msiexe.exe has been cpu time of 1:46:45.
