Configuring a Trunk with Ni2 Protocol

Need help. I am trying to configure a trunk group with NI2 Protocol and NFAST for the Primary and secondary D channel's. I've changed the Protocol on the DS-1s to D and we can get the D channel's up but none of th B channels will come up. Any idea what I may have done wrong?

Post a copy of your trunk group config

Change Protocol Version to "B" in the DS1 forms. This will keep the D-Channel up and Bring up the B-Channels. Also, make sure the primary and secondary are set correctly in the the sig form; Trunk set up should basically include the Trunk type as "ISDN-PRI". enjoy

Sorry I missed that you said that your protocol was set to D. Good catch psepulve.

This is my Trunk Group lay out. If I change the DS1 to B protocol over D the D channels will not stay up. The only way I can get them to remain stable is by using a D config on the DS1. Now I have not tried using D on the DS1 with D channels and B protocol on the ones with out. I wasn't sure if you could mix protocols like that on a trunk group.
