Hi all. We are using 3904's with our Option 11 switch here. If we take one 3904 and move it from one TN to another TN, to another, the phone works fine, the buttons stay programmed (Transfer, forward, message, etc), but we just recently got Brand New 3904 phones in and now all those buttons are missing. I can not seem to figure out how to get the Transfer, Forward, Conf, Message buttons configured on these new phones. Can anyone help please?

Thank you much.

Cisco... Can you post the TN of one of the new sets you built? Also if they are not ACD sets, have you tried just copying one of your existing sets?

Cisco.. I hate to break the news but it sounds as if the release of software in the new 3904 sets is far newer than what you currently have. I would think that yours would require software release 1 or 2. Currently I know that they have far surpassed these releases. Contact the company you purchased the phones from and see if they can be "dumbed" down to a release compatible with rel 24.xx to confirm this Do you know anyone else with an opt nearby running rel 25 or greater. At least you can confirm the software release you need. My sugesstion is to upgrade switch to Succession 4.0.

Thank you all for the help. And mluckie1, I believe you were spot on accurate. Turns out given our current software version on the switch, we can only accomodate 3904 release 6 or 7. The New 3904's we just got, are Release 3. I was told there might be a chance we could perform an up issue to version 25.08 that would work, but for now, we have sent these phones back in favor of older firmware versions of the 3904.

Again, thanks to all for the help.
