Configuring 2.0 Mb DTI card E1 (NTAK10) connect to cisco router

well, i need to connect E1 DTI card of meridian option 11c with a cisco router [E1 interface(VWIC2-1MFT-G703]. I have looked in this forum about this and it say the next:

The following is a summary of the tasks in this section:

1 LD 17 – Add a 2.0 Mb DTI card.
2 LD 73 – Define the 2.0 Mb DTI ABCD signaling bit tables.
3 LD 73 – Define the 2.0 Mb DTI pad tables.
4 LD 73 – Define the 2.0 Mb DTI timers.
5 LD 73 – Define the 2.0 Mb DTI system timers.
6 LD 16 – Configure the service routes.
7 LD 14 – Define the associated list of service trunks.

But which parameters i have to configure???

ld 17 add a dch, qsig.. and the only param i can think of is isdn yes, but if you've got a working pri, that is yes. and it's been years since i had to modify

The 2.0 DTI card not is PRI (or T1), its E1. i have to reading that qsig is signaling for a PRI T1 card.

i dont know if you can help me ??

Do you have a DCHI card NTAK02?
Can you especify the cards ref. NTXXXXX ?

Are you going to have a DCH? or it's going to in CAS mode?

If not, ask the ABCD SICA table to connect to Cisco Equip.

set the DTI2 loop in LD17

define the LPTI for this loop - LD73

define ABCD sica table ... that's the hardest part to adjust to Cisco

and follow the J.P notes

Hi

- Is this the printout of the configuration you already set?

Your printout are a little bit confused, so it's hard to help you.
Are you using loop 2 or 3 for the new DTI2? - LPTI is for loop 3
but in CEQU there isn't DTI2 loop 3, and the trunks are configured for loop 2... ( unless you're using this one)

The SICA Table (ABCD) is the same as the loop 2, I advise you to create a new one so you can change it without any problems.

- after you set everything and the RED led's on DTI2 are lit off, you can try to dial the RDB ACOD and you should get dialtone if the Cisco is configured to provide it, your RDB is set to provide tone to Cisco outgoing calls.(incoming to M1)

2 LD 73 You are correct you have to add a new SICA table to the PBX

3 LD 73 the Loop is the onw were the new card will be installed and add on LD 17

Your route has to be configure as TIE because you will use TIE trunk

5 ld 14
The trunks are going to be TIE and the Sica value will be the table number you add on LD 73
