We are having a bit of a time configuring out 1721 with a Cable modem on our WIC01. The DHCP configuration for the FE went well and the DHCP is fine. When we attempt to configure the Static IP we cant seem to resolve. The Issue being allowing out lan access to the internet. Any help would be great.

Thanks for the link. Our basic configuration is: The FE port on board the 1721 is connected to our switch and serving as the DHCP server. Our Cable modem is connected to the WIC0 Ethernet Card. We have not been able to get to the Broadband Modem.

Are you using the DHCP also for the ISP or have you configured a fixed IP address?
I am not understanding what you mean by "we have not been able to get to the MB". Would you explain?

Everything on the Router side of the Router is working in respect to the DHCP etc. the Broadband modem is connected to our WIC01 Ethernet card. We are having problems with the WIC configuration and the NAT. The Broadband is using DHCP as well.

I sure will on Monday. Just looking to work on some ideas for the first of the week. Do you have a sample config file?

Our Configuration is:

Motorola Cable Modem connected via Cat5 to the Cisco WIC01-ETH card ( a 10Base Ethernet) the WAN from our 1721 via Cat5 to our switch.

The basic configuration was done with ConfigMgr which enabled DHCP. In the ConfigMgr I did not have the option to assign DHCP to the the WIC0 Card.
