hi,

Want to configure and access HP database on workstation
HP openview is on system1 and system2 (SUN and Oracle database). Workstation - Windows 2000.

Want to access HP database on workstation via MS Access or
Oracle client. How to and is there any site for information
regarding the same.

Please help

Thanks,

Cap

You can download the Oracle client and ODBC driver from the Oracle support site.

What do you want to do when you get access to the database? Mike

I already have oracle client on Windows 2000 workstation.

First want to know the configuration. To my knowledge
all I have to do is on SUN (where HP OpenView resides)
to configure only the ODBC.

Secondly on oracle client (on Windows 2000 workstation)
configure the oracle client or ODBC to acccess the file.

Purpose to access the data and prepare reports.

Thanks,
