Configure LG Flatron display

Hello:
I connect a LG Flatron 19" monitor to my RedHat 9, how can I reconfigure the Redhat to be compatible this monitor?

Morning:
I modified the file /etc/X11/XF86Config, changed its Monitor's setting by deleting HorizSync and VertRefresh. Reboot the box. When system comes back up, O/S notices the errors on XF86Config, it starts reconfiguring display again. It is my work around.
