Configure Edge Server to communicate with Hub

I installed 2 Exchange server 2007 one as Edge Server and one as HUB,CAS,MAILBOX.
but I can't can not connect to

https://mail.domain.com/exchange

via Edge.
becasue I have public IP address on the Edge server and private IP to connect to the second server .
so how to configure the Edge server to communicate with the second exchange server to allow clients to connect to and allow them to check theire mail boxes and change theire passwords.

The Edge server is for processing inbound and outbound SMTP messages only. It is not a client access server or service. Where did you read otherwise? It needs to be clarified.

Point at the CAS, not the Edge.
