Configure ASA

Hello All,

I am working with a Cisco ASA device behind a Cisco 7000 router. I can get out to the Internet using the just the router but once I put in the ASA device I can ping the outside interface of the router but I can not get to the Internet. Am I missing something in the ASA?

How are you testing the internet? If it is ping, then you will need to add

fixup prot icmp error

What is happening is that the ICMP replies are not translated back through the pix.

If this is not the prob. then please post a scrubbed config and a quick description of the topology.
