Configure a E1 card , OPC 11C and Passport 4460

Hi,
Depending on what kind of E1 card you have in your Opt11c. I did it a couple of years ago... At that time P44XX could provide Voice Networking with E1 interfaces that would have R2 DTMF signalling or voice transport for E1 PRI2. For Voice Networking, e.g., you have to have a DTI2 card and a DTMF sender/receiver (built-in CPU Sender/receiver "card 0" works fine). In Opt 11c: LD17 - add your loop for DTI2, create route (LD 16), trunks (LD14), make sure the trunks are DTMF. In passport-> follow the instructions in the passport doc's. They also available on Nortel's web site.. P.S. Make sure CRC control is checked or unchecked on both sides. Regards, Alex...
