Hi - Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I am looking to find out how you can save a users configurations, ODBC set ups, etc when you set them up on a new configured machine for them?

Under XP, have a look at - All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Files and Settings Transfer Wizard

There's also a seperate on just for MS Office - MS Office | Office Tools | Save My Settings Wizard

Great - Now what about the ODBC settings - I don't see that as the option - nor can I navigate to that through My Computer or the drives - thoughts???

I think it's in this reg key which should be in the XP settings - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBC.INI

If not export the key and merge it into the new machine

But you will have to set the permissions for these keys manually there is no way to transfer that automatically.
