Good afternoon everyone,
ok I have an IP Office 500 V7.0 with voicemail Pro. I have a small call center currently operating in a basic setup attached to the regular phone setup. I need to upgrade the features and add in the "call recording library to this set up". I've been researching the contact call center that I believe supports this but I am not sure If I can get the compatible module anymore or if I'm going in the wrong direction to get a call recording library in place. I am getting a new server to support a call library now but wrestling with cost because I am not sure how many licenses and upgrades I will need to make this happen. If anyone can give me a "heads up" or direction in which way to proceed I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

Jerr

You dont need a huge server for contact store.

I normally spec up a Dell R210 with 2 x 1TB drives mirrored and windows 2008r2 or now 2012 foundation.

contact store requires the recordings administration licence on the IPO. You will then need to figure out how many concurrent calls you might need to record at any one time and make sure you have enough voicemail pro licences to cover it.

otherwise you could buy Ximasofts chronicall recording library and put it on the same machine i mentioned above.

To make life easy for yourself, I would install VM Pro onto the same server.

ok That was my initial direction, however in talking to a distributor they say I can achieve the same goal with an IP Office Advanced license and that unlocks the call library recording feature. Does this sound right to you?
