configuration of a JMS IQ manager

I was in the process of configuring a JMS IQ manager and was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on parameters that should be changed from the default value to another value. Suggestions for any of the parameters would be great especially the follow:

MaxPayloadMemory
PayloadMemoryPad
MaxTimeToLive

MaxTime ToLive, could be set to
Message Settings|MaxTimeToLive|value=2592000 secs(30 days)
Setting to 0 (forever) can casue issues with events not been picked up if subscriber is turned off for a period of time and then switched on.(dependant on OS platform and ESR's installed)

The others will depend on data thoughput, defaults are usually fine though.
