Guys,

I'm installing a new - out of the box - Small Office Edition.

I saw it was at version 2.0, so I did an upgrade via (at - debug - upgrade...)

Now I have a problem that the LED is RED.

I see in my sniffing soft that the ip address 192.168.42.10 is asking a boot request (bootp).

2782 1150.990423 192.168.42.10 255.255.255.255 BOOTP Boot Request from 00:e0:07:01:63:20 (NetworkA_01:63:20)

I added the mac address (00:e0:07:01:63:20 ) to the bootp prompts in my manager but I'm not receiving any requests.

DTE port gives me no information (dead!?)

Does anyone has an idea?

Thanks!

Kristof

Hi there. What did you upgrade to?
If version 4, did you use the builder 3.2 999.

You have to do it on the SOE now.
Going to need to DTE now and incase you do not have the info faq940-6158

ACA - IP Office Implement
ACA - IP Telephony
ACS - IP Office Implement
CCNA - Working towards.

Hi,

the upgrade did not succeed because the tftp did not start.

I used the 3.2 999 (replaced the file in the manager dir)

There is info from DTE (before the upgrade it worked fine)

Can you break into the DTE by hitting escape shortly after your unit is powered up?

If you can does it return ok to an AT command?

Sorry, theprovider.

I have NO info from DTE (mistake in previous post)

Even when I use esc. I'm getting no info

Hi,

okay, I succeeded to answer to the boot request. I'm running now. Green LED.

Thanks for helping me out!

Could anyone tell me where I can find 3.2.99? the only one I found was 3.2.61.

Open manager
Go to file -> working directory
There search for : c:/Program Files/Avaya/IP Office/Manager/V3_2_999

In that folder you find two bin files

The nadcpvv2 for the ds30v2 and the 401ng wich is for the small office

ACA - Implement IP Office
ACA - Voice Services Management
