Hello,
I am trying to configure aaa authentication with tacacs+ for our enable password on a 3660 router. I have the login configured for aaa authentication. I have tried the command
aaa authentication enable default group tacacs+ line

but it always fails. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

!
aaa authentication login default tacacs+ enable
!

This is command I'm using. It takes a while for TACACS to time out and ask for the enable prompt but it does work.

Are you trying to redirect the enable authentiaction to TACACS?
If so, that would be:

aaa authen enable default group tac enable

This will make it go to TACACS+ first and if it can't reach the server it will use the local enable password.
