If I have to post some info can I disable the print function, and the alt button so they cant print screen it? I have been told I have to give them access to veiw the information but I dont want them taking it with them. Is this possible through Flash.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tmat

You can allways disable the print function in Flash, by disabling the contextmenu... As you could embed your Flash in a new window without a tool or menu bar thus disabling the browser's printing capabilities. But, to my knowledge, there is no way to really disable the atl->print screen trick. Guess you'll have to find something else such as a password you grant under certain conditions, but then those password holders would be able to print it and pass it on!

Oldnewbie Is there a way to create an action button or key stroke so when they hit the alt key it activates somthing in the page this way it basically disables the alt print screen combo.

As I said... Don't know of any other way to disable the Print Scrn key, but to ask Bill (Gates) to tak'em off the keyboards! Will keep thinkin' about it, and will post anything I can come up with! Meanwhile maybe Dave will have bright ideas!

Regards, Old. ;-)

Can't offer any help on disabling the keyboard printscreen. Either way, if the user has screen-capture software, that will be able to get it no matter what scripting you use to disable the 'print-screen' key.

As far as printing by right-clicking, if you don't want any content to be printed at all, just label a blank frame with "#p". If you do want to allow some printing, label the frames you want printing enabled with "#p".
