I know Conference Center has been dead for some time now. Does anyone know of a DevConnect or Thrid party application that can be used to schedule conference calls? My concern is that without a conferencing scheduler, there is the possibility that trunks won't be available for regular calls because they are being used by the conferences. The customer needs to be able to limit the number of trunks being used for conferences at any given time. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Hi VTTD1870,
Were you able to find a 3rd party solution. I currently have IP500v2 R8.x and I am not able to sue the Conference Center any longer. I don't understand why Avaya did not replace it with something else or at least allow for a 3rd party solution to be used. Managing Voice Conference was a big part of the IP Office for us.....no what
If anyone else has any solutions what so ever, I would greatly appreciate it.

Maybe this can help, a conference module with a participant limiter.
Module
If used "as is", internal participants can't enter directly into a conference room, they need to go via the module and will be counted as well.
If needed, make a module for internal users to enter, or remove the $ sign on the short codes in the instructions
($ makes it impossible to dial from a phone, while VMPro has no problems with that).
