I'm having issues getting the Conferencing Center to work. It's installed on the same server as the Manager (Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2). IIS is all setup. I can get to the AVECS and AVECSWEB sites. I can setup a conference. It even emails the attendees the correct number, web site, ID, and PIN. We're using a 406v2 with a VCM8 and running version 4.1(9).

The issue is two-fold though. If you call the conference from outside and put in the ID and PIN it tells you it is invalid. If you use the short code or the extension from inside it does the same thing. In addition, that ID and PIN is invalid on the AVECSWEB. If you go into the AVECS management it shows that a conference is scheduled but no one is attending.

The second issue is that when there are no conferences scheduled at all, the Status window shows that the system is using 90% of the conference resources (58/64).

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Any help would be appreciated.

I had a really bad conference center install and it turned out to be ASP.net. I had to install the 1.4 version or something like that. The 2.x would not work.

That helped fix the web errors I was receiving when logging in, but it didn't fix the invalid PIN.

Any other suggestions? It's almost like the web app is not putting the ID & PIN in the database. We've reinstalled the conference center twice too.
 
I have seen this too i just cannot rememe what fixed it. Are you running the VM on the same server as the conference center? i remember now. It was a version issue in my case. What release are you running on the conference center?

We're running IPO version 4.1(9) and Conferencing Center version 3.2.15 (based on the file CONF3_2_15.exe)
 
Thats the newest version so i am not sure what i could be.

I had this issue as well, It worked when I stopped the ESC conference service, stop MSSQL$AVAYAECSS service.
Start MSSQL$AVAYAECSS service and then the ESC conference service.
 
I restarted the services and that fixed the Web Conference part and I am now able to log into the AVECSWEB with the ID and PIN. But the voice part still gives me an invalid PIN whether I dial it from internally or externally.
 
Also, does anyone know why it always shows 58/64 in use on the Status app when no conferences are booked? Is this normal?
 
in conference center do you have a certain percentage of conference sources reserved? i think it is under the admin tab in cc
 
I have it set to reserve 50%, but we actually removed the conference center and its license and it still showed up as 58/64. Then we swapped out the unit with another one, reloaded the config, and it was still there. Is there something in my IPO config that could be the root of all my issues?
 
Did you ever figure out what was causing the 90% usage of the Conference Resources.
 
No I did not. It is still showing up that way and now the entire conferencing center doesn't load at all. We are going to have to install everything on a new server.
 
There is an issue in 4.1(9) with data channels locking up. Upgrade the system to 4.1(12) then have another try.
