I am trying to get the conference feature working using the Polycom 6000 with Mitel ICP 3300 4.1.
I have configured the FAC *81 in this case but it is not working out for me.
The Mitel and Polycom are both configured as per the Technical Configuration notes from Mitel.
Any pointers would be most welcome.

Double check the SIP configuration on the MCD.

Also, have you verified that the COS is ok against another phone? i.e. can you do this from an IP set?

At the end of it, the polycom set must send the DTMF digits to the controller. You can check to see if this is happening, if it is, then look towards the MCD, if not, there is a problem with the set.

Are you pressing the conference button on the Polycom? Don't.

The Polycom needs to set up conferencing like an analog phone. Establish a call, press flash, dial FAC for conferencing, make another call, press flash to add it to the original call. I think that is the steps. Check with the help files in the 3300.

If you did not take enough time to get it right the first time...

What makes you think that you have time to fix it?

I have a 7000 set up on 4.0 per the Mitel documentation, and it works correctly out of the box.

Check for newer firmware on your 6000 - they made a LOT of improvements to it and its possible yours just needs to be updated.
