I have an IPO 500v2 with 9.1.8.0 build 172.

When two inside users are conferenced with one analog trunk (the trunk is a line appearance button), and one of the inside users disconnects from the conference call leaving one trunk and one inside user, the inside user continues to show that there is still a conference.

Has anyone else had that problem?

Thanks for your help...

? but it is still a conference. Even though it's now down to just two callers it remains a conference rather than a normal call. Yes, that does unfortunately mean it is still hogging conference resources.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Yes, one inside and one inside call are left in the conference. I would think the system would know it is no longer a conference call. I have tried it with 9.0 software, and it does the same thing.

As soon as you are using the conference resources it will show conference
that means it will not play MoH when you put the call on hold to add another conference party etc.
It will do that for that call until that call is completely finished even if you are the last member in that call it will show conference in the display

Conferencing invokes a whole pile of different code for a different set of features (conference host, mute other parties, drop other parties, etc). Turning it back to a normal call when the conference drops down to two (especially if only temporarily) would cause as many complaints from users as issues it fixes for others. Suspect the pressure to change it is very low, especially as the IP Office systems are pretty generous with the conference resource they provide (and without requiring the usual pile of Avaya licenses).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

thanks for the pink love testman
