I have an issue with conference calls not disconnecting after the call is ended by all parties. Regular calls work fine but conference calls seem to lock up and stay on hold indefinitely. This is on an IPO 500 V2 Rel 7.0. Any ideas please help. Thanks.
Thanks for all your inputs. The trunks are analog emulation (7 lines) from Comcast and conference calls are made through a handset. The voicemail is embedded and did not test internal only, but external and combination was tested with the same result.
Sounds like a disconnect supervision problem. You could enable busy tone detection under the system/telephony options. That will drop the trunk after the system receives reorder tones on the line. Or contact Comcast and have tthem verify or enable disconnect supervision. You may also have to adjust the disconnect timers depending on how their device is configured.
