Conference call with Analog Polycom 1

There seems to be some trick to getting the second line and conferencing them in.

Can anyone help?

Make sure the polycom's extension has more than (1) call appearance assigned to it.

You have to use the conference short code. it is *47 by default. what you do is dial your first call then press flash and get dial tone again. dial your next call and when it connects press flash again and get dialtone. If you need to add more at this point add them if not dial *47.
