Conference Call Issues. IP office 8

My users cannot seem to join an external conference call, they can call and get connected to the access number but once they are asked to enter the conference ID, the system doesn’t recognize the number e.g they are trying to enter 12345 but the system understands it as 111222233334455555. I am not sure what is wrong with this system but it seems like it’s a configuration problem or would it be considered as a limitation of the system?
 
No it is IP 500V2 and i have rebooted several times.
 
Which version of 8.0?

certainly not a limit of the system can you post youre vm pro call flow?

This happens when my users call an external conference like free conference call or any number that requires a long extension number.. We currently have version 8(16).
 
so is it a meet me conf in vm pro or a third party conf bridge??

On ssa when you make a call double click on the active call and see what digits the IPO is sending to line , if they are correct , then check what monitor shows you are sending , take a screen shot of both (assuming they are correct) and tell the conf people they are having "computer says no" issues.

This is happening to all my users. When we try calling the state and we are asked to enter our taxid it doesnt work then either, the girls end up using their cell phone.
 
but what does ssa say regarding digits sent to line?

SSA shows the correct information that was entered on the phone.
 
try your dial delay time and up it to 6 it may be taking peope to long to dial.

I just tried to use softphone and it works. There shouldn't be any difference in them right..
 
What phones do not work?

Are they using handsfree/speaker when trying to accomplish this? If so try having them hit the mute key before they enter the digits.

It's only dialtone!!!
 
I did.. its 8.0(16) and all our phones are 9608.. I know they are discontinued but could this be the problem?
 
Upgrade to 8.0.42
That version has new firmware for the phones and then they will be supported again.
Then you should try again.

Was this resolved? Instead of starting a new thread I'm having this same issue.

My users cannot connect to outgoing conference IDs.

They connect initially then when asked to input the code it only registers the first number..

Very strange, we've never had this problem before.
