conference 3 calls with analog phones? 1

How can an analog phone be used to conference 3 or more people? Is there a code that is entered to get into conference mode?

I understand that with ld 10, specify cls to be xfa, and c6a. How does the eu do it? Does the eu type #1, #2, etc.?

Thank you. In the X11 Software Features guide, page 675, it specifies swtch hook / flas. In the same paragraph, with the six part conference capability it says to implement Conference Control by dialing SPRE + 87. What does this mean? Do a flashhook then SPRE + 87, plus the number to conference?

My guess is that if you establish a call than hit the switchhook and call someone else and their answering machine or somethine else picks up than you can hit spre+87 to disconnect the call because if you just hit swithhook again it will conference in the call.
