Hi

I'm sure this is answered somewhere in the forum but I just can't find it.

I'm using Crystal 8.5

I would like to write the following report

Code:
Asked
Name Status Amount Canvasser

Not Asked
Name Date to Target Canvasser
     be asked

What I would like is if a record in the report has a blank 'Amount' they will appear only in the 'Not Asked' section. Also, if they have an 'Amount' they do not appear in the 'Not Asked' section.

I'm sure this is really simple but I just cannot seem to write the formula properly.

Many thanks for any help.

Peter

Hi,

by the look of your results it seems to me that you need two different sets mayebe in the format of subreports.

could you give a sample of the data to see if there is a way to workaround it.

Mo

I think subreports could well be the way forward but I've never used them before.

A sample of the data would be:

Code:
 [B]Asked[/B]
Name Status Amount Canvasser

Ivor Lotofmoney Declined £100,000 Joe Bloggs

[B]Not Asked[/B]
Name Date to Target Canvasser
                  be asked

John Smith 18/01/2006 £50,000-£100,000 Joe Bloggs

Hope this is helpful
Pete

Sorry Pete,

what I meant was the actual data from the table e.g

fld1 fld2 fld3
111 bla 10/10/06
222 ttt 11/11/08

Hi Mo

Thanks for your help, I've sorted it out with a couple of subreports.
