Hi there... whenever I try to print something out using Quicken 2001 Basic, the computer restarts. Has this happened to anyone else? I just recently installed Windows 2000, and had to download a new driver for the printer. Could this be causing the problem? Just in case it makes a difference, does it matter that I installed Quicken BEFORE installing the printer driver?

Thanks for any help!
Adam

It shouldn't matter that you installed the driver after installing quicken, but it is possible that you have the wrong driver. Check the printer manufacturer's site again, and make sure you have the driver for Windows 2000 and not the Windows 98 driver.

What kind of printer is it? I have a HP952C and have never expirienced that problem.

By default Windows 2000 reboots on a complete system crash, writes an event to the system log, and may write debugging information to the %SystemRoot%\Minidump folder (see "Start\Settings\Control Panel\System\Advanced\Startup and Recovery...").

Can you check your log for more details of the issue...? Heath
