I don't know nothing about computers but I had the guts to open my pc and put more RAM, added another HDD in it and changed the CPU. now my pc is acting weird giving me all sorts of errors. one is on the "system registry" or something.. don't know if you can understand my problem but I don't know how to explain it since I really don't know what is happening.. GO BACK AND UNDO WHAT YOU DID,
THEN REDO ONLY ONE ISSUE AT A TIME TILL YOU GET THE MACHINE WORKING RIGHT.
I ALSO SUGGEST YOU REMOVE EVERYTHING IE, MODEM ETC, AND JUST GET YOU MACHINE WORKING AND BE ASSURED THAT IT IS WORKING BEFORE YOU MOVE ON OR ADD OR CHANGE ANYTHING THIS WAY WHEN YOU GET STUCK YOU AT LEAST STAND A CHANCE OF KNOWING WHAT IS CAUSING YOUR PROBLEM OR A CLUE.

I'd go with ed's advice. Changing CPU's can make your PC do some screwy stuff. Also you might make sure the memorys working fine (you can find a free memory tester somewere at download.com) and make sure you have enough cooling for your new procceser.
