Hello all,
With NT you could put a comment in a computer's network account, and that comment will show up in Network Places on a Win 2K computer when browsing the network. We have recently migrated to Win 2K servers, and are upgrading our PCs. When a new PC is added to AD, I cannot add comments that will show up in Network Places. My boss really likes having this information and wants me to get Win 2K to show the comments.
I recently saw a script that allows one to set a computer's comments in AD so that the comments show up in Network Places. I cannot remember where I saw this script, but I think it was on this forum. I have searched to no avail, and I am hoping that someone will know about this and point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
JEB
