I would like to know the meanning of the defrent beeps that my pc makes.

The beeps on your computer are part of the POST Power ON Self Test. One short beep signifies that the PC booted successfully. The other beeps signify various problems, but are different depending on the BIOS your motherboard uses. If you find out the name of your BIOS, you can go on the Internet to it's WEB site and find out the meanings for varios beep codes.

or find an upgrade and repairing PCs book and it should tell you there as well.

Yeah, I agree with these guys. Check out all the codes, different motherboards have different codes. Basically you only need to know 3 of the codes though.

LONG SHORT SHORT (Bad video card or it needs reseated)

SHORT SHORT SHORT SHORT (Normally bad memory)

And lots of SHORT's is typically a bad setting if not, bad motherboard.

You don't really run into too many others. Those are the top dogs.
