Computer becomes very slow after a Win2K auto Hotfix.

Today, Jan 13th 2005 my Toshiba Notebook had an auto udpdate of Win2000 Hotfix KB329115.
Since then my notebook cannot load my "User profile" and is very slow.
What is the possible cause and what is the best solution?

Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove programs, and remove the hotfix and test.

I didn't remove the hotfix and found that after the 3rd day my computer was working normally again.
What comes?
