I have PV100T DDS4 on PE 4400 (Windows 2000 Server 3 SP) and Veritas Backup Exec 8.5

I use Verbatim tapes 4mm - DL 150m DDS4 (capacity 20GB without compression and 40GB with compression)

Without compression Veritas Backup Exec backed up 20 GB to one tape.

If I put hardware compression flags, Veritas Backup Exec backed up approximately 22 500 000 000 bytes, then it ask next tape.

Could you explain me, please, what is wrong?
