Does anyone know how to prevent all releases of a compound document from being displayed in a search? Unlike a version of a document, which only the latest version is displayed in a search - all releases of a compund document are found. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks so much - just one other question...

Will this prevent the search results from finding the most recent release as well?

If you exclude the releases and revisions subtypes those will not be found .Here's a thread in KB that somebody claims to have figured this out or very similar to what you want.
I t depends on your knowledege in crerating LQL or complex queries so I would start with small queries and improving them as you go.If you do succeed let this forum know your solution as well

I did try this query on my livelink with two CD releases and both releases came out.Not sure if I am reading that correct to me it is telling the search engine find objects of subtype=releases(138) and negate the currentversion,so almost like give me the current version.(I give up)
Code:
OTSubType:138 and not "<OTCurrentVersion>false"

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?

I saw that thread in the KB - but it didn't work for us either. We haven't been able to find a solution for this issue.

Hope someone else has!
