Complete VPN Newbie questions 1

Hello all.

Please forgive these simple questions!.....

I have a Win2k server and I believe I have setup VPN correctly. I can connect (by VPN) internally to the server by entering the local, private IP address (192.168.0.x)

Now, obviously I want to connect from home! At the office I have a Netgear RO318 Cable router with dynamic IP address from ISP.

So...
1) Do I need a static IP address from my ISP?
2) Where does this go? Into another network card in the win2k server or into the router?

Any other simple help, tips or links greatly received!!

You can connect to the Dynamic address. But when it changes you will need to change your Connectoid settings as well.
You need to find out how to port forward thru your router, and forward the VPN traffic to your server.
