% complete bar

Is there a way to have a %(Percent) bar without having anything to load?


I just want something to seem as if something is loading.

Im making a tutor for a friend thats gonna b on a cd...

I did a motion tween for the loading bar, but is there a way to the number % completed?

If you have a 100 frames tween, simply add a textfield on another layer, and set this clip's (if it is in a clip) _currentframe+"%" as the variable in the VAR box of the textfield.

Is there a way that I can multiply the _currentframe by 2. 100 frames is too long, 50 frames will work.

Why not? Was just suggesting 1 frame = 1%, but hey, multiply the current frame by 2!
