comping selected items in aloha

Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if there was a way to comp only selected item on a ticket. Or to split a check and just comp one and then combine them again. It seems like it should be easy, but the pos doesn't want to let me do it.
I'm using aloha 5.2.8

um,,,nevermind.
This problem was easy to fix. The select items box was a good place to start.
