I have a dr5 6x16 and a Flash 2.1.04 currently up and running...but customer is complaining of vague problems.
Are these two compatible? Is there a website for a list of compatible devices?
Thanks

They are not compatible. DR5.x needs Flash 1.44 to 1.5ish.
You will easily be able to find refurb PCMCIA cards to downgrade the flash. You will have to reinitialize it and rebuild from scratch.

thanks .....is there a website for compatibility comparisons?

Compatibilty is easy....

Anything below MICS/CICS 4.0 will work with flash 1.7 or lower

MICS/CICS 4.0 and up Flash 1.9 or higher

And although the official word is that you need MICS/CICS 4.1 or higher for call pilot. I have successfully installed a CP 100 on MICS 1.0

telemarv,

I have tried to install a CallPilot on a MICS R3 and as soon as it read the KSU's software level it stopped booting. How did you get the CallPilot to continue booting on the MICS R1?

On the R1 it came up without a hitch. Only thing that doesn't work is external call forward.

Is this the same Brian Cox that used to work at Ericcson?

Weird. I'll have to play around with software levels to see what works and what doesn't.

No, I never worked for Ericcson. I did a 10 year stint with AT&T/Pacific Telephone, about 10 years on my own, 6 years with Atlantel (ugh!), and now 4 years for J & J in Kennesaw, GA.
