I've been using Foxpro (lately Visual Foxpro) for the past 12 yrs. Due to many limitations of foxpro i plan to migrate to a more stable and reliable database for my application. I would like to know which is the best database available, in terms of stability and speed. Since this forum is based on all Pervasive developers, i'd like to know how good is it compared to other databases.

Thanx in advance

The two things about Pervasive are:

You can access the data it two modes:

Relational - SQL based

Transactional - really fast

And it is very stable once you set it up that's pretty much that. It doesn't need a DBA looking after it all the time.
