I have to colums with similar data. Some are the same and some aren't. Colum "A:26" may have the number 987.23 and colum "B:26" may have 987.29...

I need a formula that compare two adjacent cells and flags them by bolding or return a value in a differnt cell if they are different.

IE:

24 7995.02 7995.02
25 6549.99 6549.92 X
26 987.23 987.29 X
27 3656.33 3656.33

Please advise.

Try a formula like =if(a24-b24=0, "X","")
This assumes that the data starts in cell a24.

Enter the formula in c24 and copy down for the lenght of the list.
