Compare FY's data with x axis displaying month only

I want to create a line chart that displays last fy's data by month only (July, August, September) with this fy's data displayed (overlaid) for comparison by month. I don't want the years displayed since this creates a chart displaying more than 12 months along the x-axis. Only 12 x-axis date points.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
