Hello everyone,

I recently was given an old Compaq System Selector, it allows me to switch from PC's to Servers with the same mouse and monitor, and the thing works great. One problem, I have to reach underneath my desk to push the buttons for selecting a different machine. Let me tell you, this thing belongs in a rack and is quite large for home use, it belongs underneath my desk! Is there anyway to change machines without pushing the button on the selector itself? Like pushing a button on the keyboard? If so, do I need a driver from Compaq? I've looked out on Compaq's site and I have had no luck.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated,

Thomas

You should be able to press the print screen key on your keyboard followed by the number that corresponds to the correct machine that you want to goto followed by the enter key. Example - I'm on machine number 1 and I need to get to machine number four - key sequence would be print screen,4,enter.

Hope that helps!!
