I have a client with Compaq DL380 G2 that I am upgrading HDD that are a larger than previous. RAID 0+1. One of four existing drives bad. How do I upgrade them with the larger drives? Thanks, Kevin

Where are you attempting to expand the array? Booting off of the SmartStart CD?

I would like to expand the existing 36GB array to full capacity (about 72GB) of the 4 new 36GB drives that I just installed. I do have the original SmartStart CD that came with the system. I will need to boot off of this to make this config change? When I was attempting to do it thru the Compaq software on the system, it looked as though I might loose my data if I expanded it and I sure don't want that.
Suggestions.
Hope you have a safe and awesome Labor Day weekend!
K
