I've got 4 DL360 1st generation servers i am troubleshooting all showing the same behaviour. Below is a summary of my testing. Anyone Know whats going on? Am I missing something?

Hardware List:
4x DL360 G1 bare (motherboard and chassis)
2x sticks of PC133 ram
2x 866mhz P3 processors
1x 1ghz P3 processor
2x Management Boards

Observed behaviour:
* Shuts down automatically a few minutes after boot when either management board is present. Otherwise continues running without management board present
* Displays nothing on either the embedded vga out or the management boards vga out. Whether "Video Disable Override"(SW2 setting 1) is on or off

All are tested with a single processor and one stick of PC133 ram.

How far are you getting before shut down. POST? or farther. Sounds like you need a SmartStart CD to check or set the hardware settings.

rainydays137;

can you post the part#'s of the management boards and a couple off the memory.

Thanks
